First Visit
Your initial appointment will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, treatment can be done the same day as the consultation. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require an evaluation and a second appointment to provide treatment on another day. Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:
IMPORTANT: All patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the consultation visit. Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medications (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.); a list is helpful.
- Your referral slip and any X-rays, if applicable
- A list of medications you are presently taking
- X-Rays. If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
- If you have dental or medical insurance, bring your insurance cards and your identification. This will save time and allow us to help you process any claims.

Scheduling
We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day. We try our best to stay on schedule to minimize your waiting. Due to the fact that Dr. Estep provides many types of dental services, various circumstances may lengthen the time allocated for a procedure. Emergency cases can also arise and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Please understand we do work by scheduled appointments, and we reserve your appointment time only for you. If you need to reschedule your appointment, we request 24 hours' notice so that we may offer that appointment time to someone else who may need it.

Insurance
Poplarville Dental Clinic accepts most forms of insurance and will gladly file your insurance claims for you as a courtesy, regardless of your insurance provider. Please consult your individual plan, or contact us directly, to determine if we are "in network" for your particular dental insurance plan. No insurance? No problem! Poplarville Dental Clinic strives to keep fees reasonable, so that maintaining your oral health is as affordable as possible! **Medicaid patients: We accept traditional Medicaid, Magnolia, & United Healthcare's MSCAN & Chips. We are currently not accepting Molina. Please contact Medicaid to locate a provider accepting Molina.**
Payment Options
Poplarville Dental Clinic accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover card, and, in most cases, a personal check. For your convenience, we also offer third-party payment options via Care Credit and partnership with First National Bank of Picayune. Information for Care Credit can be located by clicking the link below. While we will gladly file your insurance claims with your insurance, your portion of your payment is due at the time of treatment.
